Don't miss this chance to delve deep into yourself, and experience an introduction to Compassionate Inquiry, a powerful therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté for healing trauma and understanding mental and physical illness.
.
We are excited to invite you to participate in the Compassionate Inquiry Self-Study Short Online Course. This course was designed by Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur N.D. so that Compassionate Inquiry can be more accessible to health professionals who are unable to commit to the intensive CI Professional Training. It also will be beneficial for lay people who have a strong interest in Gabor's work.
Using Compassionate Inquiry, you will be able to unveil the level of consciousness, mental climate, hidden assumptions, implicit memories and body states that form the real messages that words both express and conceal.
“The purpose of Compassionate Inquiry is to drill down to the core stories people tell themselves – to get them to see what story they are telling themselves unconsciously; what those beliefs are, where they came from; and guide them to the possibility of letting go of those stories, or letting go of the hold those stories have on them …
That’s what Compassionate Inquiry is.”
~ Dr. Gabor Maté
The short course contains approximately 25 hours of video and narrated powerpoints, and consists of the following:
Complete four-part video recording of a 2 day Compassionate Inquiry workshop with Gabor in Vancouver, January 2018, plus transcripts.
8 powerpoint videos presenting an overview of Gabor’s teachings related to CI, and 8 powerpoint videos presenting an overview of the practice of CI, narrated by Sat Dharam Kaur, plus a pdf summary for each.
Another 10 videotaped Conversations with Gabor, where he models CI with course participants, as well as transcripts of these.
The Compassionate Inquiry training was a deeply rewarding (and often challenging) experience that has given me greater insight into who I really am and helped me find more freedom, ease and joy in my life. The training provided me with the skills to confidently guide others into that process of self-inquiry in a very efficient, effective and most importantly, compassionate way.
